How can I earn miles?
You have two options to earn miles:
  1. Connect your email account to Urban Miles and all eligible receipts are automatically going to appear on your account.
  2. Manually forward us single receipts from eligible providers to [email protected]
You earn 3 miles per Dollar spent.
Can I connect multiple emails?
Yes! If you want to add another email please go to your profile page and add the email to your account or simply connect with your additional email.
How long does it take until miles show up in my account?
It usually takes only a few minutes until you can see miles in your account after you have forwarded them to [email protected] or after you have successfully connected your email. In some cases it can take up to 30 minutes. If you can’t see any miles after a 24 hours:
  1. If you forwarded email receipts, please make sure you forwarded them to [email protected]. Also, be aware you can only forward single trip receipts. Please do not convert them into a summarized pdf. If you have done all the steps above and still don’t see any miles, please send us an email to [email protected] and we are happy to help!
  2. If you have auto-connected your email with us, please make sure that you connected the email where you get your receipts sent to. If you are still missing miles, please send us an email to [email protected] and we are happy to help!
I am missing trips. How can I add them?
Please shoot a quick email to [email protected] and we are happy to add your missing trips. Please do not forward trip receipts to this address, only forward them to [email protected]
How long does it take until my referral credit shows up?
It usually only takes a minute until the miles for your referral show up. If you are missing any miles, please first try to refresh the page and try to login in a different browser. If you are still missing the miles, please let us know by sending us an email to [email protected].
Where does Urban Miles™ work?
We accept receipts from all over the world. If a receipt is not recognized, shoot us an email to [email protected].
How old can the trip receipts be to be accepted?
We currently accept all trip receipts up to 3 months back.
Is Urban Miles available as a mobile app?
Currently, we are web-based only.
What are my Urban Miles™ worth?
There are many ways to spend your Urban Miles and the offers are constantly updated. Check the Redeem section in your Urban Miles account.
Why sync with my email account?
We need some proof of your trips. That’s why we need access to your email account to check your transportation receipts from your electronic invoices. We know that this is personal data, so we are extremely careful with processing and securing it.
What happens with my data?
We use state of the art technology to keep your data 100% safe and secure. We never sell your personal data. Period. We use your individual mobility profile to help you travel smarter and cheaper. We might use your data for internal mobility research and hand data in aggregated and anonymized forms to third party mobility providers. How do I get my rewards?
Once you requested a reward, you will get instructions via email. You usually get a coupon code which you can enter into the respective apps of the providers.
How do you make money when giving out rewards for free?
We partner with global brands that sponsor rewards on our platform. These brands like to engage and retain loyal customers for them.
With which providers can I earn Urban Miles? Does it only work with Uber and Lyft receipts?
You can earn with almost every urban mobility provider in the world that issues email receipts. If you use a provider we don’t issue Urban Miles™ for yet, please do let us know at [email protected] and we will add it to your miles balance immediately.
How do I delete my account?
You can delete your account anytime. Please send an email to [email protected]. We will execute the deletion in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
